New baby
Skittles is the proud Mom of one, so far, with three more possibilities. The chick appears very healthy. Mom and Dad, Lil Ricky, are busy parents now. Feeding, feeding, and more feeding. The next egg is due to hatch, one week from today. We will try to keep our petsite friends up to date. We want you guys to share this blessing with us as it grows.

Skittles' Mother pass away today. Her name was Lucy. She was a very loving pet and will be missed very very much. Lucy belonged to my sister, Shirley Martin. Tears were shed in abundance and our hearts will ache with loss. But I think our God needed Lucy to sing for Him and called her to be with him. Lucy, you will always be in our hearts and minds. Love aways, from uncle Bart and Aunt Betty.

Where I met my Family
I am one of six birds given to Bart, Pop Pa, by his sister, Shirley A. Martin, a person who knows what pet birds can do for a person's life. I was sent to Pop Pa to help cheer him up. Along with my other bird friends we have succeeded. My Pop Pa is happy every day we are with him. My mate Lil Ricky stays by my side at all times.
My first day with them
My first day was wonderful. I found that my Pop Pa likes to nap in the evening. I go under Pop Pa's blanket and nap with him. I let him know when it's time for a nap by telling him nite nite, then I'm with Pop Pa.
Cool tricks I do
I talk some but not much yet. I say things like I love you, nite nite, and Pop Pa, and Mom Ma. I sit on Pop pa's and Mom Ma's shoulder and take a "ride".
Things I like
I like taking naps with Pop Pa, singing, dancing, and riding around on my human friends with Lil Ricky by my side. I love Peanuts and dried fruit. I love being a Mom to my little ones whwn they hatch.
Things I don't like
I do not like to be petted or rubbed, thats my mate's duty. I will not allow anyone to hurt my little ones, caution I do bite if you mess with my babys.
